A New Dimension in Adventure!

I’ve just completed my very first young adult novel, and I can’t wait to share it with you… someday!

On his way to college, wheelchair-confined Race Rexter is mysteriously transported to an alternate dimension where animals talk, humans are the stuff of myth, and he, inexplicably, is now a legless Tyrannosaurus Rex! As if that were not enough, he is arrested as a spy by a security force called the AstroSaurus Corps and harassed by the Triceratops whose ship he transported into. Somehow, he must convince these beasts to return him to his own universe to rescue his father– if they can.”

– Now, when I say that it’s completed, what I mean is that it can be read from beginning to end and has been through several edits. However, it’s not yet published, though that is the goal. Step one is to find an agent, and I’ve begun that process already. I’ve heard that authors should view rejections more as ‘rites of passage’ than letters of discouragement. Like fighter pilots stamping images of enemy planes they’ve downed on the outside of their fuselages. Ha! Well, if that’s the case, I’ve already ‘stamped’ a few dozen — but I’m just getting started! It can take a while to find an agent who is as excited about your book as you are!

In the meantime, I’ve sketched out a few images of principle characters (I am, first and foremost, an artist, after all!), and I’m excited to share those right now! Even out of context, I hope the spirit of the project catches your interest. More coming soon!
